cog_nomenI am failing. On the upside I am transcribing my notes - 3k worth so far - from SPN/Ds in between fits of writing watson fic.
I am also breaking every tenet set forth by holmes fic predecessors and myself by writing it in the second person of all things, when the novels provide me with a perfectly good excuse to write them in the same narrative first person account they employ. I AM NOT SURE WHY. Perhaps I can claim insanity, or perhaps I simply think it will paint more of a view of Dr. Watson than his manuscripts - which, I would suppose, he edits heavily to remove any taint of his inner thoughts that are irrelevant to the case at hand.
I have written perhaps five paragraphs and already had to do research on several subjects. Switching between Watson's very proper narrative and word usage and Kowalski's very... uh... unique narrative and creative word usage is something of a trick, I will admit.
anyway, more forthcoming.

-Managed 5.3k of transcription from my notes on Ds/SPN, before my wrists gave out. It's already almost as long as Bacon and nowhere near complete. I'd say about 2% finished.
-Watson is 800ish. Hopefully a bit less gigantic when it resolves itself into something more solid than 'witty banter about toast and cocaine'. ]
