10 November 2021 16:51 So, it's nanowrimo time. I'm writing a frigging monster of a Cowboy Bebop Vicious/Spike/Julia Syndicate Era fic that no one is going to care about, but hey, it's been living in my brain for years. With the LA coming out (yeah, I'm not that hot for it either) I have just enough spite for my body to demand I write it.
If I'm fucking right about things I want to be right BEFORE the live action is god damn it. As I've written (approx) 25k in 10 days spite is a powerful motivator.
[Edit: My fic will join the hallowed halls of 17 others on ao3 so this is the rarest of rare pairs in the oldest of old fandoms. Just my style.]
I concepted approximately seven things for this year's nanowrimo, so I guess if I finish before the end of the month I'll just work on one of the other items on my docket. Then into the new year doing a fresh edit of that original work I finished this year. Trucking onward.
